yes ! today is my 22nd Birthday !
love the number, but i still feel like im 18 lol ! & I can't believe that it's been a year since I had my xmas vacation in Atlanta..I miss that place, it was a very nice vacation...
it's been a great year overall, tiring but had I did manage to accomplish some of my dreams :) I look forward to 2011 and hope to be more organized to start blogging again and start writing MORE and make it my own diary online, will do my best (Promise!)..Wish you (whoever reads my blog :-P) a wonderful holiday and happy new year :) enjoy it to the MAX !

Testament's (Damnation Vacation) Tour 2009 Review (@ Harpos Theater-Detroit)

Back from the Damnation...

yeah baby ! it's Testament this time ! one of the best concerts I've ever seen !

Date: Saturday May16th 2009, Time: 4pm - 4 am !!!!

I've been huge fan of Testament since I started listening to Heavy/Thrash Metal back when I was 12 years old -soon to be 21!- , to me they should be one of the big 4 if not the 1st band to put on there along with Exodus,Slayer,Megadeth/Metallica -sorry big fan on Anthrax-, the only band that has been through hell & now they r back all together,spreading the Damnation all over the globe with their 2008 album release (The Formation of Damnation), one of my favorite Thrash Metal album of all times,it truly defines the Pure Thrash Metal that I heard when it all started in early 80's...Amazing Album,heavy & tight as shit, so fast forward to Present, Testament is back, Heavier than ever, more scary ! with their classical lineup featuring The Mighty Chuck Billy on Vocals, Alex Skolnick & Eric Peterson on Guitars,Greg Christian on Bass & the amazing addition of the Drummer, the one & only Paul Bostaph (Ex-Slayer,Ex-Exodus,Ex-Forbidden)!!!

I've been fortunate enough to Meet Alex Skolnick last December when I got the VIP Backstage to Trans-Siberien Orchestra & Met with Chris Caffery (Savatage) & Alex + TSO Members!
Alex promised to keep in touch with me & my bro and he did ! we kept talking from time to time when he gets sometime off the road & back to his hometown NY, always great to talk with him,he's been a guitar hero for me for years , so talking with him on personal level is far beyond my wildest dreams !

so last Saturday I headed to Downtown Detroit, to Harpos Theater* (Black Label Society Shot their 2002 Boozed, Broozed, and Broken-Boned there),same theater that I saw Iced Earth on last year, I e-mailed Alex before askin him to make sure of the whole sound check and rehearsals so that they don't face any shitty sound problems in harpos that Iced Earth & some other bands faced before,I got there around 4 pm, Supposed to have early entry to the theater in time when Testament do their sound test but that never happend ! Lauren-Testament Assistant- called me & said that the owner of the Theater didn't let them do the sound test coz their will be over 7 bands opening for them so instead he took them to the hotel to get some rest !!!
I got pissed off & worried, hoping not to be another sucky sound concert, i got to enter the theater @ around 5:15 pm, and the security guy didn't let me in simply coz i had my camera with me ! I told him i got all the VIP shit & stuff & he wouldn't listen ! that's when I went out to Testament's tour bus & saw their Manager and told him the whole crappy shit of the security guy then I got in.I was starting to feel exhausted and sick, coz I had strong flu the week b4 &i was still recovering from it !
I sat down on one of the bar tables,drunk some water & tried to rest, the local bands started playing on 2nd stage @ around 6 pm, their were 3 bands,each played 10 minutes set + several intermissions then @ 8 pm (Lazarus A.D) took the main stage, they were the 1st Direct Support band on Testament's tour,new upcoming band from Milwaukee,WI, played a 30 minutes set consisted of songs from their newly released album (The Onslaught), I heard about them before but never listened to their stuff, they were mind blowing, tight band, cool licks,heavy riffs, perfect choice for opener,they really got everyone on fire! once they finished their set every1 went outside to Merchandise Section & bought their album !

another 30 mins. break with some local bands playing on the 2nd stage, I didn't bother myself to check those local bands,i was saving my energy for Testament !
Then it was the time for the metalcore band (Unearth) to play for 1 hour, I don't like Metalcore style but these guys were amazing! specially their main guitarist ! mind blowing skills ! with neo-classical influnce,reminded me much of Jeff Loomis/Yngwie style of playing, that's when they got the whole crowd to start the moshpit & bouncing thing ! they played so well that the crowd called them for an encore but that never happend sure ! coz the masters r about to take the stage !

30 mins.later, Everything went dark, blue dim light lit the stage with few smoke & the PA system played (For the Glory of) Intro from Testament's new album ! followed by all members taking the stage,greeting the crowds with warm opener, (The Preacher!) followed by (Practice What You Preach) ( The New Order).....DEMONIC ! Eric Peterson played his newly Sunburst Dean doing all the dive bombs/solos himself, wicked song ! Chucky Billy Sign.Growls blew every1 ears !
after some true heavy songs, it was time to the lovely ballad (The Legacy), and man ! Alex Skolnick did his best Solos there,wonderful tone & amazing feelings! then it was time for The cool shy guy Greg Christian to do his bass intro to Souls of Black...then back to Alex on (Electric Crown) ! he was more like Steve Vai with all the Harmonics/feedback stuff on this one ! then they ended the set with the brutal version of (Disciples of the Watch) ! that's when they left the stage..making the crowd screaming their lungs out askin for more dose of Testament !
the blue dim light was again to lit the stage...followed by an extended Symphonic intro to the beautiful opening track from The Gathering album (DNR !!!)..with Chuck Billy doing the Maestro Impression...certainly one of the best moments ever, followed by 1 song then the ended the night with (The Formation of Damnation) -Extendend Version-
the crowd was insane through the whole Testament set,all bloody baths of mosh pits/circle pits/headbanging !

after the show ended @ around 11:45 pm I had to wait for 15 mins.near the dressing room so that the band can take shower,change & get ready for the big party !
I killed the time by talking with Lauren -Testament Assistant- & Theater Secruity guys + 2 old fans of Testament who drove 3 hours from another city just to meet the band! more to meet Paul Bostaph & get his sign.on their remo drum heads !

they told me that Harpos Theater Manager was so shitty & that he sometimes ban bands from playing & cut their sets and such crap ! they even told me that 2 years ago,when Exodus played @ Harpos, the Manager came after 45 mins. and turned off the electricity on the band and kicked every1 out just to save $100 on Security bill !!!!

better stick with the good stuff ! Lauren brought us free Limited Edition T-Shirts, Free Testament MusicSkin for iphone 3g,+ entry to raffle(lotto) to win Eric Peterson's Sign.Dean Guitar + Testament Skateboard ! signed by all the members

after that we went inside the dressing room,it was like 5X3 room ! with Testament guys sitting on sofa waiting for us ! I was the 1st one to enter,greeted Eric Peterson, Chuck Billy, Greg Chrisitan then it was Alex turn,he was busy checkin his iphone but then when he saw me he got up,bro-hugged me & introduced me to the band, I sat down near Alex & Paul Bostaph, Paul was in silent mode,he looked dead tired with his red face & evil eyes !

Alex talked to me most of the time,askin' me how i've been and stuff, I brought my Testament (Live in London) dvd to get it signed,starting with paul (he said he'd record one with Testament soon hopefully), then Alex,that's when Alex kept checkin the dvd cover pic & comparing his hair now with 2005 era lol ! then greg,Chuck, & Eric, I asked Eric about his DragonLord band (BlackMetal Project) With Steve Smythe (Ex-Testament,Nevermore) & Steve DiGiorgio (Ex-Death,Control Denied,Nevermore,Testament!). he said he'll record new album after Testament finish their summer/fall touring in September, I asked if Steve Smyth gonna be there and he said "FUCK Steve,Fuck Him !!!" humm I didn't ask y lol ! he looked pretty much serious about it ha !
so it's gonna be new band with Testament Bassist Tech. doing the bass job & some new members.

Chuck Billy was awesome,he's one of my favorite Metal Singers of all times, I askedh im about his DDR (Dublin Death Patrol) band with Steve Souza (Ex-Exodus), and he said they'll record new album and dvd soon

Alex Skolnick said that he's getting his 1st instructional dvd finished, but his trio jazz band dvd will take more longer to get finished, he also told me that recorded some acoustic tracks just days ago with his friends Rodrigo y Gabriela ( http://www.rodgab.com/studio/studio.html ).

then we head down to the main stage to take Pictures with The Band, I took pix with all the band/crew, some were taken by Alex & Eric ! and for some reasons they liked my camera ! and kept asking me about it,it's features,price ! saying they wanna get rid of their old canon cameras !
It's just regular Camera,not pro nor semi-pro ! (Nikon S550),they said that they liked the quality of the pix & it's small stylish size ! then they gave us Poster,Signed it, the set list for the night,then Alex decided to go outside the theater to greet the few ppl who stood for over 1 hour waiting outside ! what an amazing guy ! he was followed by Chuck & the rest of the band,except Paul, I don't know y, but as I said b4 he looked kinda angry & tired

then we all went inside and partied for 2 more hours ! I talked with Alex about his signature guitars,he got them made here in MI @ the original Gibson Factory that's now owned by (Heritage Guitars),he said that he signed a deal days ago to get his signature Guitars available for public sometime later this year or early 2010.I saw a Red Prototype of it that he played earlier tonight.Greg Christian dropped his endorsement of MusicMan Bass, he's not using Peavey Basses & Amps.also getting his sign.Bass to get out soon based mainly on Dave Elfeson (Ex-Megadeth) Model.a Night to remember for sure ! I can't wait to see the guys back again !
I hope U guys get to see them this Summer playing in Turkey & enjoy their show as much as I did, they put on a legendary one! so make sure not to miss them !

Finally ! I got to see them 2 nights ago playing in downtown Detroit @ the Fillmore Theater...

doors were open @ 5:30 pm, but I got there around 7pm, just in time when (Municipal Waste) took the stage,played 30 mins.set,they were alright! good choice to warm-up the crowd !

Lamb of god were the headliners with 4 other supporting bands (Children of Bodom,God Forbid,As I Lay Dying & Municipal Waste)..

Children of Bodom were the 2nd act,they played for 1 hour starting @ 7:45 pm, I myself not a big fan of Children...but they started the whole deathcirlce/moshpit shits & it went crazy as they started playing (Hate Me) & (Downfall).....Alexi said that he's in pain coz of his Broken Shoulder & that he has an Internal Bleeding !,he fall from his sleeping bunk and went straight to the ground on their tour bus just days ago ! he didn't move on the stage, just little & he focused more on his playing which is better for sure ! U can tell from his facial expression that HE IS in Pain !

then it was the intermission time for 30 mins.while the tech.were working on setting the stage for (As I Lay Dying) they played for 45 mins.till 9:45,EMO core shits,not my thing ! but many of the crowd audience went crazy!

just b4 lamb of god took the stage, some Tech. dude started giving away Free T-Shirts & Picks ! I managed to get 1 pick only...they all disappeared in seconds !

everyone got more excited & started screamin' with all their power (Lamb of god..Lamb of god)...

Lamb of god took the stage @ 10:10 pm & played for 85 mins nonstop !!! they were on fuckin fire !

.I was on the right side of the stage,right in front Mark Morton,once they came the whole crowd went crazy & it got really ugly that made me leave and go back all the way to the end of the theater to get a better view/sound from the band !! the first 4 rows were moving like an oceanwave !!! the band was so fuckin' heavy that they screwed the whole PA system ! I started to hear noises & couldn't hear Randy's voice @ all ! that's when I got lil depressed !

I then went to left side of the stage where (Willie Adler&John Campbell ) were playing,the sound got better ! & it went Brutal this time !! drinks started to fly from no where ! & we all got wet with beer,water & some bodily fluids lol ! ppl.from the 2nd level of the theater started to jump to the ground, bodies started to move throughout the crowd ! Thank God I didn't get caught in the whole circle of Death ! I'm not the type of guy who goes crazy & start kicking others...I prefer to watch the band,hear the music & Study the whole thing ! it's like an educational thing for me !

nonetheless it was an awesome night & Pure Metal Experience....nothing beats the energy Lamb of god generates ! they r so fuckin' awesome ! I'm totally blown away from their presence ! Randy's voice was killer ! Mark Morton & John Campbell were scary ! Willie Adler is a bad@$$, hilarious & funny as hell ! Chris Adler ! My Man ! so classy ! amazing talent ! his skills r beyond anything I've seen,he commands the whole band & keep'em tight like none's business ! he didn't speak a word,but kept saluting & smiling to the Crowd the whole time, big guy !

WHAT A GREAT DAY !!!

Hey all…..
Today was MAYBE the BEST DAY IN MY LIFE, so I'm gonna talk about it WITH FULL DETAILS coz IT WAS JUST GREAT,
I woke up at around 8:30 am, I had my breakfast, got dressed then I went to pick up Mustafa and go to Umar's house, then we went to our 1st MATH LESSON IN THIS HOLIDAY for the 6th grade, the teacher was really good, It was good lesson from 10 am to 12 pm. After that umar's father came to take us home but I told him that I wanna go to KARADH to buy some cloths-actually I lied about this coz I wanted to C my guitar master (Saad Zai) and spend some time with this GREAT MAN- anyway so he drove me there, I went to Saad's place but he wasn't there yet so I sit down waiting for him, then a guy came and asked for Saad and I told him that I dunno where he's so he called him by the cell phone and Saad told him that he would come within 15 or 30 mins. So we-me and the guy- talked about Music, guitars and things like that, he was a great guy, he wasn't much into Hard/Metal Music coz he likes Classical music more than anything so we talked about Classical music, then Saad Showed up, the guy took a classical guitar lesson at first then Saad recorded some music for him to practice with on CD, then MY TURN came, and since it was only me and Saad in his shop so I DECIDED to take a GREAT LONG LESSON and so it was, he gave me a FULL BOOK filled with NOTES & TECHNIQUES and he recorded a full CD of exercises after that I talked to him for about an hour then I asked him to play some of his greatest music, so he plugged his NEW classic guitar into the amp. And played some of the greatest classical music like (Romance and some symphonies for Mozart & Bach) then he plugged the Electric one and he opened Fruity Loop program to arrange the drums tempo. And he started to playing his own song called (Death Wishes) then Thrash Metal song, Thrash Rap, Arabic Metal song and then he started again to play Mozart & Bach but this time it was much better with the electric coz he used more than 5 effects with each music, he played both of them with high e-motions and It was just great to watch him playing, he did some of his tricks like (Tapping with hands and tapping with the pick.) it was so great WISH U ALL WERE THERE, then we talked about music and about his favorite guitarist, then at about 4 pm I took a taxi and returned home. I had my lunch then at 5pm Dr.Zaid's family came to our house, I talked with Raya about the guitar she wants to buy and she agreed about the price, I'll ask Saad to bring it to me, It's a great piece of musical instruments-A Classical YAMAHA guitar (C40)-, maybe I'm gonna take it next Tuesday when I go to Saad. Anyways at 9pmI took a COLD Shower and here I am writing this great post, I gotta eat my dinner now so catch u all later…..

HELL IS FREEZES OVER !!!

Hey friends,
Sorry for not posting in the past days but I was in hell busy with my final exams, I've finished them yesterday, I'll get my marks next Monday, I hope I'll pass with good average, now I'm gonna be in the 12th grade (6th class) and as U know it's the last year in High School so I gotta study hard this year, oh God, I REALLY HATE STUDYING !!!
Tomorrow I'm gonna have my first Math Lesson at 10 to 12 pm, then I'll go to my guitar master (Saad Zai) to take guitar lesson, My mom and bro. will go to Syria next Wednesday I was supposed to go with them but then I decided not to go coz I think being ALONE in the house is better than Going on a TRIP with FAMILY !!! I'm gonna ROCK my house next week so if U hear a loud music or things like that that means I'm ALONE in the HOUSE !!! hehhe anyways, I gotta Surf through the net now, so Post t'y all later.....

Sorry for not posting in the last week but I was so busy with my 4th quarter-semifinal- exams, I finished all the exams, I got great grades, also many $h!ts-bombings- happened near my place, 4 car ombs blasts in Al Azhamiya 5 days ago killing more than 70 people, it was a hell day and the electricity went off and it didin't come till the next day, anyway on the last Saturday I went to my Physics lesson then to Amin's house where I spent the night there, I went out with Usama at 10 pm, we drove to his father's office, we stayed there till 12 am then we got back home, I had my hair cut by Hassan, although I look like a bald man but he did a great job, it's summer after all and nobody gonna see me till the final exams finish.
Sunday was a great day I returned home at 2 pm, then we-me & my family- went out to have lunch at SAMAD Restaurant in Mansur St., the restaurant was great and the service was so great, I ordered (Austrian Scallope), and it really taste good. Then we went to my aunt's house, we stayed there till 8:30 pm, after that we left to Dr.Zaid's house and there I saw Raya, she gave me the hair color sprays (Gold & Red Colors), we stayed there till 10 pm.
We couldn't reach home coz the bridge was closed and all the roads that leads to our home were closed, we asked one of the guards (ING) and he told us that there are bombing cars in the area and they will try to diffuse it, so we went to Amin's house and spent the night there. On Monday I went to school and I did my Experiment in Physics lab. and I got full mark, Today (Teusday) was so great coz I got the chance to talk to a great person-I won't tell U who SHE is !-, She's so great, God how I adore this girl, anyway Gotta check some sites so Post t yall later.....

OMG, it's been a long time since I last post somethin' about my LIFE !!!! hhehe, well this week wasn't so bad, although many bombings and shits like that happened but it's still better than the last week or the one before it, anyway I've forgot to tell U that I'm having my 4th quarter-Semifinals- exams, I had Computer, English Language, Religion Education, French Language, Chemistry and Arabic Language Exams, I got 48/75 in Computer, 67/80 in English, 97/100 in Religion and 90/100 in Chemistry, I'm still waiting for my grades in French and Arabic Language, also I'm gonna have on this week: Math Exams on Sunday, Physics on Monday and Biology on Wednesday, so yeah this week will SUX. Oh also I've forgot to tell U about the results of my 3rd Quarter Math Exam, I got 75/100 in it (NOT SO BAD !) I thought I'm gonna get about 40 or 50 in it, Oh enough talking about EXAMS !!! but that's my life at the moment it's EXAM X EXAM !

97 in Religion
73 in Arabic Language
93 in English Language
45 in French Language (I hate French Language coz it's so dull and also not only me who got 45 in French, everybody in the class got 45)
50 in Computer Science (The questions were HELL)
75 in Biology
65 in Chemistry (it must be 70 not 65 but the teacher*@#!$%)
75 in Physics
And finally 78 in SPORT!!!! CAN U BELIEVE THIS??

U may ask WHERE THE HELL IS THE MATH! well I had my exam a week ago an till now the teacher didn't give me my mark so I will add it later when I got my mark,

What A Beautiful 2 days !!!

I had such a great time on Saturday, I woke up at 1 pm , had my lunch and at 3 pm a took a taxi to my Physics teacher, when I got to the lesson the teacher didn't come so we-me and my 2 of my friends- called him on his cell phone to see why he didn't come and he told us that he'll come at 4 so we said OK, he came at 4 and we had one and a half hour of physics lesson after the lesson I went to Amin's house and I saw there my friend Ibrahim Husham, I really missed this guy coz it's been more than month since I last saw him, we sat down and talked about several things then he asked me to make an Audio CD to him so I did.
I made CD of 10 tracks which contains songs to Scorpions, Papa Roach, Nightwish, Limp Bizkit and Metallica. After I burned the CD we hanged out in his HONDA PRELUDE 1992 sport car for about 2 and a half hour, it was a great ride.
At 9 pm I felt so hungry so I took his car and went to Ali's Restaurant and got 2 burgers and one Coca Cola, then I returned back to Amin's house, at 11 pm I watched (24) then (Friends) and (Married to the Kellys) and I went to bed at around 2 am.

On Sunday morning I woke up at 7 am, got dressed and then I went to school at 8:15 am and I found that the school is CLOSED!!! So I thought Ok let's take a taxi and return back to my house but I found that I don't have enough money to take a taxi to my home and also I was so tired to get back home walking on feet so I retuned back to Amin's house-by the way Amin's house is about 300 M from my school-, I had a tiny break fast with Amin's brother (Hassan) then I took a nap from 11 am to around 4 pm!!!! Then my father came to take me back home, in our way back we went to Pet's doctor near my house to get my cat (Coffee) a nice HAIR CUT !!! heheh he looks so funny now without his hair after that We returned back home,

Gotta listen to some music now so C YA all…………….Later ;)

It's been about a week since I last have posted something here, it was a SICK week, I had my Math Exam on Monday and the questions were like hell as usual, I may not pass it well. from Tuesday till NOW (Friday) I'm stucked here in my house, nothing to do and no where to go coz all the roads and bridges that surrounds Al-Adhamyia-The Place Where I live- are CLOSED so I couldn't go to school or anywhere else, 2morrow the ING-Iraqi National Guards- will open the bridges so I might go to my Guitar master and then to Amin's house.
Sorry for not sending any E-cards about the EASTER but I've completely forget about it so "HAPPY LATE EASTER!!!" I'll post later so C YA

Yesterday (Thursday) was also a wonderful day to me, actually it was the best day, I woke up at 7:30 AM in the morning, got dressed and then I went with my father to the Passport office to get my new passport, then I took a cap from the passport office to Mustafa Ghassan's house, the we picked Mustafa Laith from the school to KARADDA DAKHEL, we went to Al-Laith Complex to buy cloths, sports ware and shoes, I bought NIKE sport shoes and it cost me about $ 40, also Mustafa Laith bought one, after that I went to my guitar master (Saad Zai) to C him, I haven't seen him for ages and I was so missing him coz he's so great, U know what, he gave me his album for FREE !!! I've tried too hard to give him money but he refused that, he's so great, I really don't know how to thank him, anyway after that we took a taxi to Al-Harthia st., and had our lunch at City Center restaurant, then we returned back home. At 6 PM, My father took me to Amin's house and I stayed the night there.
2day (Friday), I woke up at around 9:30 AM, went to my Math teacher at 10:15 AM, then I returned back to Amin's house at 11:30 AM, Wasted my time there on the Internet, got my lunch at 3:30 AM, then I slept till 8 PM, and my mom and dad came to took me, and here Iam writing the story of my life, C YA all…………….. What a great day yesterday was, the school was gay as usual just like the weather here, I went after the school with Mustafa Ghassan to Karam's house, and then we did just like the last week, we went to City Center Restaurant and we found it closed then we went to Moonlight, we stayed there for about an hour, then we return to Karam's place. His PC was so slow so he asked me to Format his Windows XP and then Install it again, so I did that, after I've installed all his hardware definitions, I entered his IP address and DNS numbers for his Wireless Internet but it didn't work so he called his Internet provider and told them about the problem and they told him that they will send a guy within the next 30 mins. And they did, a guy came and and he was acting like he's BILL GATES and he knows nothing!!! He told me that I've formatted the windows in the wrong way, just like if it was my first time to do that!!! So he asked my friend (Karam) to come to their office to format his PC , at the time I couldn't stand it any longer so I asked the guy to tell me about the kind of problem that faced him with the internet and he told me that he couldn't install the LAN driver !!! I'VE INSTALL IT before he came but I didn't know the GATEWAY address so the internet didn't work, so I install the LAN driver and then he entered the DNS, IP...etc.
So the internet start working again, SORRY FOR WRITING ALL THIS BUT I REALLY WANT TO WASTE MY TIME HERE COZ I HAVE NOTHING TO DO AT THE MOMENT.
Today is my friend (Hannah)'s birthday, she is now officially 16, so I gotta send her an e-card, C YA all..... LATERZ!!!

OMG, John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess are 2 unbeleiveable musicians, they are great, My father came back from Jordan 2day and he brought me 3 great CDs':

2-Jordan Rudess (Rhythm Of Time)
3-Cradle Of Filth (Nymphetamine)
although I didn't ask him for Rudess's album but it's ok, I asked him to bring (The Electric Joe Satriani An Anthology) and (The Infinite Steve Vai An Anthology) coz these 2 CD's contain their best music, he couldn't buy them coz he coudln't get back to Mute Records to take them ,anyway maybe he'll go back to Jordan on April 3rd, But John Petrucci is a great guitarist, I didn't know that at 1st, coz I don't have any records to him, my friend (AnaRki13) is Petrucci's biggest fan, he have most of his Albums-well maybe all of them !-,maybe I should order them from him instead of going to Jordan and record them there, I'm so happy coz I'm listening to him at the moment coz his style is just between Satriani and Malmsteen, Great style isn't it ??? GO AND GET HIS RECORDS ! WHAT R U WAITING FOR ??

What a Lovely DAY !!!

2day was a great day although I was so tired coz I didn't sleep well last night and I woke up at 6 am to say BON VOYAGE to my father who went to Jordan,and the school was so gay, but after school I hanged out with 2 of my friends (Karam & Mustafa L.), we went 1st to my place at around 2 PM then at 3 PM we took a Taxi to AL-HARTHYA (Restaurants St.) to Karam's house, I tuned his classic guitar and gave him a short guitar lesson, then we went to (City Center Restaurant) but we found it closed so we went to (Moonlight Restaurant) and had our lunch there, after that we went to (Rock Records) just to C what's new in Music and we found nothing really new, I bought 3 CD's that contains all (Shania Twain) Clips, after that we returned back to Karam's place and I open my e-mail there and I received an e-mail from my friend (Mussab)-the one who went to Satriani's concert- sending me the websites that contain the pics. But unfortunately I couldn't open them, every time I try to open one of them the usual error page appear saying (This Page Cannot Be Displayed bla bla bla) so I'm a bit depress about it, then I took a Taxi with my friend Mustafa L. and returned back home, At around 7 pm I went to a small market in our street and bought some stuffs like (Head And Shoulders Shampoo, Americana Ketchup and a box of a great chocolate called M-JOY), I saw my friend (Ahmed) there and he offered me to go with him in small ride in his BMW 735i and of course I said YEAH Y NOT !!! It was a great ride (Wish U were with us) all the ride we listened to latest Nightwish's CD (ONCE), It's a great CD, after that I returned back home, Watching some DVD's , had my dinner and here I am writing N' wasting my time here, but hey IT'S WORTH IT, OK gotta practice guitar now….. Joe Satriani in NZ and I'm having exams !!!

2day is Sunday; I woke up 2day at exactly 7 AM, I got dressed and went to school, I was supposed to have Math exam but I didn't read it very well and I was afraid of the questions coz my class teacher told us that the questions will be difficult, so I went to the math teacher and I told him that I didn't read the subject so he told me to not enter the class in the Exams hour , so I went out, after one and a half hour my friends who were in the exam came out and told me that the questions were like hell and most of them won't pass it with good marks, actually to tell the truth I read the subject but I was afraid of the questions as I said above, I'm gonna have the math exam next week maybe on Teusday, anyway after the school I returned back home, I open Yahoo Messenger at 2 PM coz I was waiting to my friend (Mussab)-who wents to Joe Satriani's concert on yesterday (Saturday)- to tell me about the concert, and I talked to him till 3:30 PM, he told me that the concert was great and it lasts for 3 hours, and that Satriani is an amazing guy, my friend was in the 1st row in the concert ,he was only 5 m away from Satriani ,he told me that he was so close to bring me one of his-Satriani's- guitar Picks that he threw after every song but the guy next to him took it, also he told me that he could easily get on the stage but he didn't coz as U know there is something called SECURITY there unlike here, heh,
He couldn't take any pics. Coz the cameras were not allowed but he told me that the guy next to him has promised him to send him the pics. Coz this guy was holding a small digital SONY camera in his hand and he took many pics. In the concert, I'm waiting for the pics. At the moment, also next Saturday Mussab will go to Mark Knofpler concert, I can't believe it, 2 concert in just a week !!! And to who?? SATRIANI AND KNOFPLER!! Man this guy –mussab- is so so so lucky, and I'm LUCK! *bad joke* ok c ya later.............

3 Days Stories !!!

OMG the weather is really bad here coz it's raining heavily and all the streets are covered with water and mud but the good thing is that the electricity is still on, that's kind weird. I'm posting now using my NEW PC, anyway, as I told U before I'm having exams, I got 70 in Biology and I think that's a good mark compared to my friends' marks, the Computer exams was like hell and I don't think I'm gonna pass it well but U know what, I know alota of things about Windows and DOS but this sick program called PASCAL is just $h!t, I hate it and I still don't know Y the teachers keep teaching it in my school !, I really should stop writing about my exams coz it's really piss me off.
On Thursday I went to Amin's house and stay the night there, then on Friday I went with my friends to the football game from 7:30 to 11 PM, we stayed till 11 coz it was raining and we had fun there so we kept playing football, It was a great game, but I'm tired now and my right elbow is hurting me coz I slipped and fell unto it in the game, Ouch it's hurting me now.
My friend (Mussab) who lives in (Auckland-NZ) right now will go to Joe Satriani Concert 2day-Saturday- at 8 PM (Auckland time), I wish I was going with him but I'm stucked in this $h!t country, also he'll go to Mark Knopfler (Of DIRE STRAITS band) concert next Saturday, I WANNA LEAVE THIS COUNTRY, I WANNA SEE REAL PEOPLE, I WANNA LIVE IN PEACE NOT WAR. Hi all,
Sorry for not posting something in the last 4 or 5 days but I was so busy with exams, I had three exams till now, Biology, Computer Science and English language exams. I did great in the biology and English but the questions of Computer Science were difficult and like HELL, anyway, nothing really good happened in the last 5 days, on Thursday I went to stay in Amin's house, on Friday I went to a football game from 7 am to 9.30 am It was a great game we had alota of fun (Wish U were there), then I went at around 10.30 am to my Math teacher (Math SUX) I hate math science, then I got back to my home sweet home (believe me there's nothing better than HOME). And I started reading for Biology exam.
The best thing is that every night I listen to my favorite guitarists (Joe Satriani and Gary Moore) from 12 AM to 3 AM, its great U gotta listen to them at MIDNIGHT and especially to Moore coz he's just great, I got his BEST AND BALLADS CD from 82 to 94, I like these songs to Moore:

Oscars and Grammys

Hey, it's been along time since I last post somethin', but I've sold my PC 2 weeks ago and I'm gonna get a new one next week, I'm using my father's laptop at the moment.
I watched Oscar festival yesterday and I think it was fair for most of the movies except for "Passion of the Christ", the make-up was great, the story rulez, and of course the DIRECTING "MEL GIBSON ROCKS", he's my favorite actor.
About Jamie Foxx he deserves the Oscar for this year coz he was the best, I saw RAY movie and I think that all of U should see it NOW.
I'm waiting for the Grammy's on TV, I saw the list of winners for the Grammy for this year and I didn't like it, coz I think many bands and guitarist should get it for this year, like Steve Vai's song "Whispering a Prayer" It was great U should listen to it, it's one of my favorite music of all the time and HE DIDN'T GET GRAMMY!! also Cradle of Filth's song "Nymphetamine" didn't get the award, I know that Velvet Revolver rocks and their music is great but not like Cradle's Nymphetamine, FUCK THE GRAMMYS, anyway I g2g now C YA all…………later

1. You originally have no Arab blood, you're either Turkish, Iranian, Assyrian, Chaldean, Kurdish, Turkomani, or Indian in Origin, but somehow you're Arab!

3. When talking to Egyptians your Iraqi accent turns Egyptian, when talking to Lebanese, your accent turns Lebanese...etc..
4. If you're a guy, all the Iraqi women already have their eye on you and want you for their daughter.
5. If you're a girl, all the Iraqi women think their sons are too good for you.

1. Girls dump you. A guitar will always be there when you get home.
2. A guitar's minimum requirement is an amp. A girl's minimum requirement is shoes, clothes, makeup, a mirror, magazines, more shoes and a tiny handbag. And that's every week!
3. You'll never turn on a girl as fast as you can turn on an amp.
4. If your guitar sounds crap, you can tune it. If your girl talks crap you're stuck with her.
5. Guitar's, unlike girls, have volume control which goes all the way down.
6. If you play your guitar crap, it tells you its crap. It doesn't lie and pretend you did it right when you didn't!
7. Two girls at once is hard to come by. Double kneck guitars are not.
8. Your guitar makes a sound only when you want it to.
9. Nobody cares when you dump your old, out of date guitar for a new, younger model. In fact it's encouraged.

Well Hi again,This monday was really really great coz in the morning and exactly at 8 AM I went to a football game with my best friends AMIN,ZAID & Muhammed and it was a good game then at 11 Am we returned home.(ACTUALLY I RETURNED 2 AMIN'S HOUSE COZ IT'S ALSO MY HOME !!!).We get our cloths and swimming suits and we went to Muhammed's house then we hired a taxi and went to the swimming pool in Babylon Hotel.THE POOL was great,There was 2 pools one is inside the hotel and the other is outside and both were great we went to the steam room also and then we jumped into the cold water WOW IT WAS REALLY GREAT THANKX GUYS 4 THIS DAY HOPE WE CAN MAKE IT AGAIN TILL THEN C YA.

The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all of the background checks, interviews, and testing were done there were three finalists — two men and one woman. For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.
“We must know that you will follow your instructions, no matter what the circumstances. Inside this room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. You have to kill her.” The first man said.“You can’t be serious. I could never shoot my wife,”
The agent replies, “Then you’re not the right man for this job."
The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five minutes. Then the agent came out with tears in his eyes. “I tried, but I can’t kill my wife.” The agent replies, “You don’t have what it takes. Take your wife and go home.”
Finally, it was the woman’s turn. Only she was told to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard, one shot after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman. She wiped the sweat from her brow and said, “You guys didn’t tell me the gun was loaded with blanks. So I had to beat him to death with the chair.”
